The Sacrament of Holy Communion
As a "sacramental" church Our Savior's places great importance on the regular reception of the Lord's Supper.  In the Lord's Supper Jesus Christ personally gives us his actual body and blood for the forgiveness of sins.  This is the great personal comfort for each believer.

As a confessional Christian church Our Savior's practice closed communion.  This means that people who are not members of Our Savior's or churches that are in fellowship with the Wisconsin Lutheran Synod (WELS) and the Evangelical Lutheran Synod (ELS) are asked not to partake of the Lord's Supper until they have been instructed and have been able to confess their unity of faith with us.

There is a published flyer, The Godly and Scriptural Practice of Closed Communion, that explains this historic and biblical practice and we encourage visitors and those who desire to commune with us to read it.  Pastor is also available if needed.
